About Us

ESSE Landscapes was founded in 2003 by Stephen Etheridge and has grown to employ more than a dozen staff, most of whom have been with us for many years. Several started as school leavers on apprenticeship, rising to become site supervisors or managers.

Stephen has a hands on approach to the business, working closely with his staff, designers and clients to ensure that every garden is of the very best quality.

We are based near Copthorne, just outside East Grinstead, where our administrative offices are located. Our yard and storage area is nearby, at Newchapel.

We currently employ qualified specialists with the following areas of expertise:
