A new swimming pool terrace in Surrey

We were invited to design and construct a new terrace area for a swimming pool at a property near Weybridge, Surrey.

The swimming pool was existing but in a derelict state, so this was refurbished and a completely new terrace area constructed. To provide a light and airy atmosphere, and also to match the house, a yellow limestone was chosen. New pool copings, with a bullnose finish, were cut from the stone and the patio was edged with matching setts.

A large water feature near Godstone, Surrey

ESSE Landscapes were asked to build a large water feature in direct view from the kitchen/dining area of a large house.

The design took advantage of the two distinct ground levels, to create a waterfall between a stream, constructed at the higher level, and a pond below. The feature is powered by three large pumps, operating in an underground reservoir. Water is continuously recycled at high pressure to create a cascade over the large boulders. The effect is very natural and has fooled many a visitor apparently!
