Where do I begin?

The starting point for any new garden is the design. A well thought out scheme should take into account many factors: sunlight, elevation, terrain, soil type, drainage and of course most importantly your own individual needs and wishes. The ideal garden should be an extension of the home, both in style and function. All our gardens are bespoke designs, drawing on the quality & experience of our professionally qualified designers.

The process of creating your dream garden starts with a designer visiting your home to assess your requirements on a no cost / no obligation basis. At this stage, we will also provide guide prices for the schemes being discussed. Following the first visit, we will quote to produce detailed scale drawings of the chosen scheme for presentation and discussion at a second meeting. On larger schemes we may well need to return for further consultation.

Once the entire scheme has been agreed, a full set of colour, scale drawings will be provided together with a fixed price quotation for the construction work. Please note that these drawings are yours to keep and there is no further obligation to employ ESSE Landscapes to undertake any construction work. If you already have plans provided by your own designer, we would be pleased to quote for the construction work alone.

As well as offering our own design service we have built lasting relationships with a number of leading designers and we would be pleased to discuss this option with you when we meet. Whether you use our in-house design service, a designer recommended by ourselves, or one of your own, we will always work together as a team to provide you with the best possible levels of service.
